​After ceasing operations in August 2024, Game Informer has officially returned under new ownership. The video game magazine, previously shut down by GameStop, has been acquired by European game developer Gunzilla Games. Editor-in-chief Matt Miller announced that both the staff and archives are back online. Game Informer will continue as an independent editorial outlet, resuming its website with news, reviews, previews, features, and event coverage. Plans are also in place to revive the print magazine with new membership and subscription benefits. Users can sign up for updates and access archives on the newly re-established website.
